At the age of 21, Sam’s achievements and level of experience belie his years.
Sam First skyrocketed into the public eye in 2006 when he won the role of Ringo in Neighbours after auditioning for a nation-wide Dolly magazine competition.
His subsequent popularity, along with his obvious skill resulted in his original 3 month contract being extended into 3 years. His character has grown to become one of the show’s principle roles and has featured in over 300 episodes to date.
Although Sam has always been interested in acting and has appeared in many school productions including a leading role in West Side Story, his passion has always been music. He has been playing guitar since he was 5 years old.

Sam’s music is a great mix of edgy pop and indie rock heralded by a great vocal band.
