PSEUDO ECHO pioneered the new 80s electro-pop sound in Australia, soon establishing themselves at the top of the Australian charts with Top Ten hits such as “Listening” and “A Beat For You” from their debut Gold selling album “Autumnal Park”. The band then scored their biggest worldwide hit to date with their version “Funky Town” ( 12 weeks at the Number 1 spot ) , which later featured on their Platinum selling follow up album “Love an Adventure” ... Also including the hit singles “Dont Go” & “Living in a Dream”.

Kids in the Kitchen, the 80s “new wave” band that formed in 1984, quickly raced to the top of the charts with their debut Platinum selling album “Shine”. Yielding 5 top ten singles including “Change in Mood”, “Bitter Desire” & “Current Stand”.

The Models, one of the coolest bands of the early 80s, shot from “hip” to totally “hot” when James Freud (Ex “Radio Stars” ) joined the band..and lead them to domonate the pop charts with a string of hits including 2 number 1 smash hits “Barbados” & “Out of Mind Out of Sight”.
