Bryan Batt

‘Mad Men’ star and Broadway veteran Bryan Batt is coming to Sydney to perform his acclaimed cabaret show ‘Batt on a Hot Tin Roof’ at The Basement.
Batt shot to TV fame with his role as Sal Romano in the award-winning television series ‘Mad Men’ – he is also a seasoned Broadway star, with leading roles in ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Sunset Boulevard’, ‘Saturday Night Fever’, ‘La Cage Aux Folles’, ‘Cats’, ‘Starlight Express’ and many more.
‘Batt on a Hot Tin Roof’ is a comic and moving musical journey that leads the audience through Batt’s eventful Louisiana childhood – dominated by his strong-willed ‘Southern belle’ mother – and on to his leading roles in Broadway musicals, and eventual starring role in the smash hit TV program Mad Men. A host of charming and witty songs – from classic Cole Porter, to modern comedic numbers – are exquisitely interwoven with a series of hilarious and poignant monologues. You’re guaranteed to fall in love with the very “theatrical” boy from down yonder in New Orleans who dreamed of a life on Broadway and in Hollywood. And throughout the show, Bryan’s love for the ‘Big Easy’ and all that the city represents is clear to see.
The show has already received rave reviews at the legendary Le Chat Noir in New Orleans, as well as at top New York venues like The Metropolitan Room and Feinstein’s – this will be Batt’s first ever visit to Australia.

Bryan Batt will be accompanied by top New York musical director Michael Lavine. ‘Batt on a Hot Tin Roof’ is proudly presented by Luckiest Productions.
