Australia has been a nesting place for some of the biggest bands around the globe in the past decade with acts like Wolf Mother, The Vines, and Silverchair. Hailing from the very same town as Jet, Borne has been quietly awaiting its turn on the world stage whilst working hard in its native Australia, paying its dues and taking its music to any audience that would come to see.
Since forming in 2003, Borne’s on-stage electric presence has translated into today’s polished and professional foursome parting the difficult waters to recognition.
With 2 EPs under its belt and the highly anticipated “Loss of Signal” album about to be released in Feb 2007 Borne is now ready to continue its home town’s proud tradition of taking its unique brand of music to the world.
Borne’s talent composite is Cameron Tapp on lead vocals and guitar; Steve Kucina, vocals and guitar; Pete McDonald, drums and Scott Thornburn on bass guitar.
