Formed in Adelaide Australia in 2006, enigmatic six-piece Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! have been pioneering a genre-defying brand of post-punk meets indie rock that’s brimming with cutting guitar riffs and humming with pop sensibilities while leaving a trail of cult releases and celebrated live performances in their wake.
Embraced by taste-making Australian radio station triple j in addition to a plethora of critical ears online including Mess + Noise and TheVine, Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! are slowly but surely establishing themselves as a young Australian act destined to reach international audiences.
Since the release of their cult debut album ‘Sea Priest’ in 2010, Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! have taken their talents on the road in support of numerous major acts including Band Of Skulls (UK), Born Ruffians (CAN), Sia, Dappled Cities, Bertie Blackman and John Steel Singers as well as appearing at select summer festivals including Peat’s Ridge and The Big Day Out.
In 2011, the band have set about writing and recording the follow-up to ‘Sea Priest’ which promises to be their most ambitious and consequential effort to date.
