Four Microphones. Four Voices. Four Queens.
Four Queens of Jazz is a cabaret show like no other in Australia that captures the varying styles and performers from the different jazz eras. It evokes an atmosphere of glamour and intrigue with an out pouring of soul and class in every note. The show has two facets.
The first, an explosive celebration of music from the 30’s 40’s to the now. Songs made famous by iconic jazz singers like Julie London, Etta James, Billy Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald an era that produced many vocal talents that continue to influence artists of this generation.
The second, four beautiful artist with incredible voices which have paved their own way on the Australian music scene through years of hard work and dedication. Each of the queens was individually chosen for their merit as a singer/songwriter. Separately and then together they each pay homage to the artist and songs that shaped their song writing and vocal ability.
The show is a journey for all ages and all tastes. All types of venues, from the small cabaret to the outdoor festival. The accompanying band can grow from four pieces to orchestral. You decide
